I have two questions:

1) Now a year later, do you have anything to add or subtract from the post - new info or nuances?

2) I have many forums with large databases. I would like to add ecommerce to them to monetize the network. I would like to use subdomains like store.myforum.com simply to keep all shops on one host. My two primary concerns are to have all ecommerce shops work properly on a single server that's setup correctly, AND to seperate my ecommerce software from my forum software to head off security flaws that crash the whole thing. (In the past I had my forum software hacked and servers crashed).

Any input?
