I am sure someone will be along soon to help with the hit counter. If this is a professional site it is best not to use a counter. Most people know that these can be manipulated, so they don't believe the numbers anyway. If you are honest with your hits and there are not many, it looks kind of sad.
If you are curious about the hits you have on the website, awstats in your cpanel gives you fabulous reports for that.
