I haven't joined long but thought even if you have solved the problem this may help others in the future.

When you use flash templates, or flash that imports a text or HTML file the & sign is a variable command. This causes the text to scroll to all points before the & sign but not after. The only way around this is to type the word 'and' instead of using &.
