I am creating databases and then cannot find them!

What would be the Database Directory in which MySQL will put my created databases?

Can I determine in which directory my database will be created or cannot?

My domain name is lmstest.net where I am installing Moodle and I faced a problem where Moodle asked me to create a database, named moodle, in a directory named moodledata. I created the database but I couldn't move it to the moodledata directory. How can I do that?
