The computers are not identical, are they?
If they were, they would indeed appear under the same drive.....each has their own speed and configuration, and the flash drive becomes "associated" to your OS/HD accordingly.
You would see the same thing happen on one computer if you used two different (non-identical) flash drives also. Try being a bit more flexible with how your computer operates!
