...................The CamStudio program saves it as a swf (Flash) file which is even better.
I recommend that if you are going to use this method, that you need a minimum if 1.4ghz processor otherwise the finished swf looks choppy sometimes. The screen capture processes is cpu intensive for anything under the 1.4ghz.
Additionalliy- if you want to be able to save it as a .wmv - then I would recommend windows media encoder which can also capture the screen and audio. That program can be found
