I set up a new ftp account after watching the tutorial but I can't access it. I can access my main account
ftp://ftp.thewashingtonword.com. . .but I cannot access the new account
ftp://ftp.alcmaterial@thewashingtonword.com. ..it won't let me logon. . ..
How do I access the new account? what is the proper address and procedure to access that folder? I've watched the tutorial but it doesn't explain how to actually logon to the account. What would I tell someone who wanted to download a file from that folder?
I want to set up a folder (alcmaterials) that i can upload to and have clients download from. I don't want them to go to my main account however. I want to set up the one folder with a separate username and password for downloads. . . how does that work. . .what am I missing here? Isn't that what a "new account" is for?
