Since you cannot publish still to your addon domain
I can only think of one thing.
The set up was not done properly.
I suggest the following options:

1] Submit a support ticket to request VodaHost to install your addon domain. I think they will only charge you US$30/=

2] Commission the installation to a third party

and you problem will be solved so you can carry on with building your
website.
