Am i misusing the purpose for ftp? I was thinking others could download files in a separate account with separate password. . .but PERMISSION DENIED. . .only I seem to be able to get access to
alcmaterial@thewashingtonword.com. ..I don't get it. . .what is the purpose of setting up an ftp account if no one else can get access to download files. . .and what is this about not using ftp for "storage". ..what is it for. . .I'm not storing files. . .I want to make files available for others to download. . .Is that permissible? When I give the host, username and password to someone they can't get to the file. . .I'm stumped and they just dumped my question but this is a different issue than the original question. . .my original question on this thread is solved. .I have a new issue. . .but they just dumped my question. . .great. . .so I'm sure this will sit forever and never be answered. .. .why couldn't Mr. Man help me instead of just dumping my question??
