Nice start, good general layout. Although I don't see the point of the buttons down the right side when they all take you to the same page, pointless. I see you have corrected the punctuation, nice calm colors.......almost too calm for me, I would spice it up a bit if it were mine (personal choice though). Overall Good job, a few more tweaks and your good to go.
