I am wanting to use GMail to manage the email for my VodaHost domain (blanesheffield.com). I have gone into CPanel and changed the MX entry as suggested above.
Then, I went to my Google GMail account and setup my "Get Mail from Other Accounts" like this...
The "blane+blanesheffield.com" (the + sign instead of the @ sign" came from "Email User Name" advice on manually setting up a POP account from CPanel when I created the
blane@blanesheffield.com email account.
The CPanel Manual Settings also state that I should use port 25 for the outgoing server but if I change the Port 110 (above) to 25, it errors out.
Bottom line, I can send a test email to blanesheffield.com and it never appears in my Gmail inbox. The Gmail appears to be checking blanesheffield.com as configured above without any erroring out but always says 0 emails fetched.
Can someone tell me if I am missing something somewhere?
