Thread: need help with music

i have some music on my site but the entire song loads and they are long - my question is - how can i load only part of a song? this has been mentioned in other threads but not how to do it.
i am an absolute dummy when it comes to things like this - i was lucky to even get the song on the computer. thanks for any help i get.

I purchased a music editor from Office Depot. There
may be some free ones out there, I havn't searched
lately for them. Import the music, edit it down,
save it as mp3. Use the 'file publisher' and upload it
to your server. Edit properties on your page or your
picture or nav bar to point to that file. You must use
the complete url with file extention. The editor I use
is graphic, so I can size the music with the drag of
the mouse. Easy!
