Now having got over my initial problems and the odd senior moment, my web site is up and going, thanks to you wonderful patient people, all your help has been greatly appreciated.
I now want to paste a picture from Adobe & Turbo cad.
I have played with the OLE but I am not able to get it to install my pics.
    Any halp very much appreciated.

Default Re: using OLE to insert object

Hi Jill, by default PDF files will not simply display as normal pics. As you know (having created a PDF) a PDF reader is required to view the pic. most browsers have this compatibility but it will still be a case of 'click the link to see it' rather than a picture displaying as it would in say.. a gallery.

Also, if you do have PDF files on your site I would also recommend providing a link for people to get the Adobe PDF reader just incase some visitors want to see it but do not have the reader installed.

This has been my experience of PDF's until now anyway :)
