Thread: Addding a Video?

O.K so I'm trying to add some videos to my site but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. First off let me start by saying I did watch the tutorial and did just as it said when adding a movie. However, When I preview the page in the browser it does not show the video. Is this the case because it is just a preview? Or if its not working in the preview does that mean it will not work once I publish the site either?

The preview wont work if your video links point to a http:// address but they should work after you have uploaded them. All you need to do is upload the videos in the same way as you upload/publish any other file and ensure that you video/media player is linking to the correct file.

I think I may understand better once I publish my site. Right now that is a little confusing. I'll give it shot once I'm online and see what happens. Thanks for the help.

Also try disabling the pop-up blocker, sometimes it stops the vid showing

You didn't mention the file type or size. Try putting your video on a blank page with page properties and links filled in. Name it and publish. Then preview in browser. It should work if you followed the tutorials.
