    Question Help with Frames!

I need help with Frames bad. Everything is pretty easy to figure out except for this whole iFrame. I had sent in a help ticket but the replies I was given told me to come here. Basically I just want to set up some frames in my website so that I don't have my entire page change when a link is clicked, I just want the link to show up in the frame. BUT I can't figure out how to use this iFrame.

    David,

I read your tutorial on iframes and it was great. But, I do have a question or two.

    1) Can you put more than one iframe on the same page or does each iframe have to have its own page with the area that it will use just like you set it up.
    2) Once the iframe is stretched, if I understand this correctly, you cannot put any linkable information in the text content area?
    3) So, this leads to the putting more than one iframe on a single page. The idea is to have two gomenus set up to change if I enter new information on the menus and still be able to put linkable information on the rest of the page that will be different from each of the other pages on my site.

Does this make sense to you? I really do not want to stretch the iframe to cover the whole page because of the above linking problem it would create, yet I want to be able to make the changes to each page easier as suggested with the iframe.

Last question: will this work with pages that are already published?

    Thanks,
    Ted

First, the thanks for the tutorial should go to Keith who created it in the first place.(well done keith)

Yes, you can have more than 1 i-frame on a page.

You can then use the names of the published pages in your i-frames.

    have fun

    David,

Thanks for the quick reply. I am sorry, thanks to Keith for the tutorial. I didn't know who actually wrote it.

I will try to get this going soon.

    Ted
