Hi vila,
Click on the Gallery Icon in BV..on the left about 4th one from the bottom...double click..then go to the drop down box that says target and choose popup.Click the link below for page guidelines (no more sideways scroll)

The gallery tool is ok for an image popup. For general purpose popups, have a look at this POPUP generator . You can customize almost any parameter of your popup.
