Thread: Print runs off the web page

Private O'Hara reporting Sir! General Sir!!

I have started on a web page - Set page boundries - Imported a header + picture and when I add 5 or 6 lines of script in the centre of the page it looks good until I view the page in the preview.The script runs off the page in one line. How do I fix this problem.

Thanks for the reply.
I click the text A button and double click inside the little boxes to edit.
I increase the size of the box and position on the web page and start typing.
It looks good until I save it and then preview. In preview it shows as one line running off the page.

how wide are you making the box and what size are you setting the page at? Look carefully at the page propertiies - you are probably working on a larger size property than you have your own computer resolution set at.

My text box size is 235 x 175 and the page is set 800 wide x 600
I tried 600 x 800 page size and reduced text box 150 wide x 300 but the same thing happened.

Have you published a page? Unless I can see what it is, I can't help at this point, because I can't picture it happening with the sizes you're showing.
