Thread: Any different btw image & image map?

Do they provide different function?

Image is just an image and an image map basically splits the image to link to different sites.
For example, say you had an image of someone's face that you wanted to use on your site.
1) You would select the image map icon to load your image.
2) You would right cick on the image and select "add circle hotspot" for instance.
3) You would then add the url to wherever you want that section of the face to link to.
4) Press ok, and position the hotspot.
Carry on doing as many as you want on the image, then when you are done, save and publish the page. Then when you hover the mouse over the photo, you will see different sections have different links!

The Image function just simply allows you to upload an image.
