Thread: Text appearing!

On my new site I have used a picture as the banner heading. During the set up I played around with the text, until I got it right.

Last night I published the pages, and somehow text which is no longer there (you cannot see it, edit it or delete a text box) is appearing on top of the test that was supposed to be published. It is no a caching problem as the pages were never published before!

I have checked the html code, and the text does not appear in the code!

Have you any suggestions?

I have imported that page and it shows several text boxes which are covered up.....have by any chance copied this page because there seems to be 2 copies of all your objects.
move 1 and you should see the other copy underneath in exactly the same position.....maybe thats your problem Trish !!

I see what David is saying too Trish, I had a look by editing your page with microsoft front page and I see the extra text, take you cursor and click everywhere, perhaps the text is hiding, but you will see some blue handles that will give you a clue .... click click click, lol

Yippee! Found it - thanks folks! Took me a while, but it was hiding in the i-frame! I had white text stored on the menu page - suddenly clicked when I moved the menu!

All sorted now - explains why it wasn't in the page html. Just shows the daft things that happen - and that it is always human error!
