Default Images highly pixelated and blurry

    Hi All,
I have 2 sites that I am working on currently. The images/logos/whatever look great on my computer and others that I have viewed on. However, on some computers they are really bad. Very blurrry and pixelated. I'm sure that this is an individual computer preference. i remember something about "compressing graphics" but just cannot remeber where. (HELP)
If anyone would like to view these and give me your comments about the grahics and image quality I would aprrreciate it. BTW, the sites are not fully completed so there may be some little areas that are not perfect.
    FIRE AWAY with any input.
    Thanks

Any others? Does anyone remember where you can elect to compress graphics on your computer?

On the solutions page you have a text problem under the photo .... all the images look fine ... I think perhaps someone may be referring to the natural "hazing" effect in the photo itself ... perhaps ... maybe

    good job so far .....

I am aware of the text problem. I need to use a smaller font size. I have seen the photo problem on another computer. The photos and graphics are quite bad/blurry/pixelated/whatever.
I can't remember where you can tell your computer to "compress graphics/images" for faster viewing.
Thank for viewing Bethers & LadyEye.

yw ... Not sure about where on your own computer, I suppose it would depend on the image editor you are using .... you can however use pix resizer, available free through voda or an on line image optimizer like this one .... I believe it has to do as well with the graphics card on the computer - a poor card will deliver poor results, nothing you can do about this ....

    Thanks LE,
Somewhere stored in the deep dark recesses of my brain I seem to remember when setting up my computer or web browser that there was an option to compress graphics for faster viewing.

hmmm ... there may be, I prefer not to compress my files, not sure why, lol, I do know that when you are sending images through an email program, like outlook express, that option is there for you ...
