Thread: Adding GIF template page to BV

Hi folks... looking for some guidance. I am creating a template in Adobe Illustrator and saving as a .gif image. I would like to know the proper way to install this in BV. If .gif is not the proper format, I would appreciate guidance on saving the template as well. I have chosen .gif as that is what the BV templates are.

Hi Dori ... jpeg or gif is fine ... insert either as an image (I for some reason find jpeg cleaner) ... be careful with your size you are making, as if it is made too small, when you enlarge it on your page in blue voda it will distort right. (locking the template you made with Blue Voda, also keeps everything in place and no need to worry about distortion)

I like jpeg more than gifs as well... much cleaner.
I am actually creating the template pages for the exact pixel size I need and am optimizing through Illustrator to compress the file size. I'll let you know if this works. So instead of installing the template into BV I would just insert as an image? cool... piece of cake... slice of pie!

Hi, keep an eye on the kb’s on your template & possibly use tables for large background colours if you can.
