Thread: Moving Script

Hi I hope someone can help me. I am building a "Services" page on my web site which includes quite a few different services. I would like if possible to make the text scroll upwards so that I can fit all the services on 1 page.
For Example:

Shipping Agency.
(Description of companies activities etc)

Chartering and Brokering.
(Description of companies activities etc)

Container Liner - West Africa.
(Description of companies activities etc)

Crude Oil and Clinker.
(Description of companies activities etc)

Etc,Etc, with other company activities ( In total 6 different services the company provides).

I have tried "Marguee" with no success and wondered if there was a way I could achieve this effect. If not it means that I will have to make a page for each different service.

I hope someone can help.

You could do this by putting each of them in iframes.

You CAN do it with a marquee. Have a look at www.navaldesign.info/Tips/colormarquee.html

But people can't stop and start that to read at their own pace like you can do in an iframe. I think, for the purposes I believe this is - an iframe (yes, naval, I do find uses for iframes lol) would be best.

If I'm wrong and he wants them to scroll all the time - then the marquee would work.

Hi Beth, i just indicated how it can be done with a marquee, because he asked for that. I agree with you that an Iframe would allow the visitor to scroll as he likes and stop in any part to read, so it would be more indicated for this case.

You may be able to solve a problem with this one. Its not a bad thing , but it would be nice sometimes not to have this part linked. So how do I stop the link continuing into the italic part of the script, so this part can be just plain text? IE:
Company 1 (Google) <stop link at this point >Testing 123
