Thread: ? RE: Linking to a Password Protected Directory

I would like to link a hidden shape on my home page to a password protected directory. I have already set up the password protected directory in my cpanel and given it a sign in name/password. Let's say the name of the directory is password_required. I am unclear how I link this hidden shape to the password prompt. Would the link for the shape be: www.mywebsite.com/password_required.html ??

Hmmm... maybe I should have posted this in the CPanel forum... I seem to post in the wrong forum too often... sorry.

It would just be:

http://www.mywebsite.com/password_required
to reach your index page

or http://www.mywebsite.com/password_required/anypage.html



dont forget to publish an index page to this folder/directory...........
