Thread: About stopping Browser Caching

This quote is from a post in "BlueVoda Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts" of November last year but an email today made me aware of the thread. I guess I got the email as part of an introduction program for newcomers at BlueVoda.
Since the original thread is closed I guess I have to create a new one to post this question:
I just wonder does this meta-tag apply to pages created using BlueVoda only or is it a universal tag that I can use on all other web pages as well?

It is a universal tag that can be used in any HTML web page and editor.
