Thread: Help needed installing votepro 4 ????

Hi, I have tried a few times to install this software & keep getting the messages below & cant get beyond this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There has been other post’s on this. But no answer’s. Hope you can help.



Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxx.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Chris, find the .htaccess file within the VotePro folder and delete it. I posted this a while back and it works as a fix, but the post was lost in a deleted thread.

Just got to implant my hair back again.
Maybe an idea for VH to change the original installation thread, or even a note to let others know.
