    Default Lightbox feature advice

Well of all the new features I seem to have trouble using and working out the lightbox feature, is there a tutorial on how to use it.

I keep messing around, but I am struggling to figure it out.

Any help for 'Mr Thicky' would be appreciated.

this is the one thing I found straightforward to use. It works the same way as the gallery. You simply add the lightbox, and then double click and add your photos in the same way as you would to the gallery.

Trish to be honest I have little idea on what it does, first time I have tried to use it. It just asks for an image that I add and then I am stumped at to what its for.

Perhaps I need to research a little more on what it does.

    Thanks anyway

    Karel

Once you add the photo, you can continue to add as many as you like, if you then click each name of the photo that you added, (individually) you can then add title, the size of the thumbnail you want to appear (I used 120 x 120) and then how many columns you want, like 4 across the page, 3 down, all dependent on the number of photos you choose ... cell padding is simply the amount of space you allow in between each thumbnail, (I used 15)

Then once you have your photos in place, you publish and when you view the page, you see the thumbnails, with their description written below and when you click on the image, a larger image will appear, dependent again on the size of the photo you put in there to begin with (400 x 300) or whatever, really all depends on the type of photo and your choice made here ...

Try it, it works real well, and is very neat and tidy ...

Holly I posted that I did take part and lost the bleeding page. I created the page and left it to go get something to eat, in the meantime Sara came up to use the puter and closed my page down before I had uploaded it and I..well I...lost it...DOH

But I promise I will do another, some beutiful creations on there, especially the very creative Robyn(C.L). Don't think I am quite up to that standered, but I will sure try my hardest.

Yeah Paul, thats the one! It kind of fades everything into the background and opens up a larger image. It works the same way as the gallery tool, but just with a different effect.
Oh and talents? me? you are thinking of the wrong person :p lol

so... I put up a page HERE using the lightbox feature and it seems to be taking forever to load on my side... could it be my connection, or is it coming out okay for you?

I'm using Firefox as my primary browser.

Thanks, Teri... I appreciate you checking it for me. STill very slow on my end, even after refreshing. I think my internet is just lagging. :(

IE does make it load up a bit faster though... cool!

No problem! Maybe clearing your cache will have something to do with it?
