Thread: Text boxes help

I have been trying to put text on top of a shape, but when I publish it, the text box remains white on top of the colored shape. I have the text box background on automatic, but it still shows up white. This also happens when I put a text box on top of an image (photograph).

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I have read all the tutorials, but none address this problem.

On your Format toolbar (top of BV window), there is is a Bacgound drop-down box (next to the Text colour drop-down). First select the text, then Reset the bacground with this button or set it to white, or any colour required).

It should not happen unless your text and your bg shape color are the same.
But if you still cant see your text when you place the text over an image then there could probably be something wrong with your BV Website Builder. Try reinstalling the program.
