Thread: Making songs downloadable in bluevoda

Is this possible?
I have a music site promoting artists, with music of theirs in a jukebox style player. I would like to add a section to my site where songs can be downloaded. Can this be done in bluevoda.

Yes, this can be done in blue voda. A few things you might have to consider will be whether or not the songs are "free" downloads or paid for downloads in which case you might want to protect in a directory and figure out how to collect payments. You would use an icon, image or even text, as the link to your download for each song. If you didn't protect a directory, the url to download the song would look like this http://www.nameofyourdomain.com/nameofsong.mp3 or whatever the extension to the song is.
