Question Inserted pictures are jumping around

Can anyone help me with inserted pictures? I was building a page and inserted text and corresponding pictures.
As I approached the bottom of the page , the pictures did not go where I tried to put them - they are sort of "jumping". Their positions ends up anywhere around where I want them.
I tried to start all over but this keeps going on.I even rebooted my pc, but that did not help. The result is I cannot put pictures where I want them to be.
    Please help

I am having the same problem but the suggestion that was made did not fix it. I am trying to make updates to our web site index but the items I drop and drag are not where I want the when i preview the page. The seem to go randomly wherever they want. This started after I downloaded the new version of blue voda.

Have you by any chance added some code in a html box ? if yes, check this code as you might have forgotten some closing tag and this could create the problem. Just another guess....

    Thanks Chris,
I was looking for how to add music to Brad's web site and I came across the answer to correcting the components of the web building jumping around.
My snap grid was on, I turned it off and page building just became lots easier.
    Thanks, Linda http://www.bradkimball.com
