Thread: banner location won't stay put

Hi,

I just DLd the software so bear with me.

I have put in a background and now want to insert a transparent gif for the banner/logo. I place it on the page in the upper left hand corner, but when I preview it, the pic has moved over to the right about three or four inches. I've tried locking and unlocking and turning on and off the snap to grids but nothing works. I cropped the image so there is no empty space around the logo. There is no scroll bar at the bottom of the BV editor so I am viewing all the way to the left. Any ideas why the image is moving from where I place it on the page?

Hi Waker

I had this problem for days and yesterday I found what was causing it to happen.

One of my banners the code had a "<" missing. Hope this helps.

Hi kiwiana,

Well I kept messing around with it and finally tried unclicking the "center in browser" option and that did the trick. But I sympathize re the carats. They can be a nightmare!
