Make a simple pop up

Is there a way to make a simple pop up? I am trying to make it so that my customer can click on some text and a small window will come up showing a picture of the product. Thanks!!!

You can link your text to an image .. insert your text, insert link and type the url of the image, you will first need to publish the image to get the url from it .. then copy it, add it to your text link as a link and your image will show ..

When I publish the picture, am I correct in assuming that the picture will just be placed on a blank page, then published as a page? How can I make the page small, say, 500x400 or so. Thanks!
