    Default password protected webpage

Hi, hope you can help. I'm trying to figure out how to have only one webpage password protected. my website is www.lesson1.it. I would like my students only to be able to access the 'webletter' page (which has a link from the home page on the red star). I started a forum previously, also. Can my students access the webpage with the same password (if this is even possible.) Does this make sense? can you help?

    Thanks very much,

Yes....once you create the protected directory, you can publish a single page (or ten thousand pages) into that directory easily, and if you choose, a single password can be made to allow access to the "protected page."

    Remember to publish so: public_html/nameofpasswordarea

and....to provide accurate links back to your main website (when visitors exit that single page, they must log in again if they wish to return)
