Thread: HELP!!! with chat

Hi i'm new to building websits and dont know scripts and i only know bv from using it so much can any one tell me how do create a chat i dont know how to get the text from the edit box to post to the main chat screen like in a normal chat room how when you hit enter it comes up for everyone to see it

VodaHost Terms of Service do not allow you to run a "chat" script on your servers, but do allow Live Help and forums.

Quite possibly, you might find your needs met using either a phpBB Forum, a Wordpress Boog, or another one of the featured utilities included Free with every VodaHost account.


If you do not know the difference, for example, VodaTalk (where you are now, and like in yur question above asks you can see the posts and have "live" interaction for all to see)....this is a Forum. So, maybe a Free phpBB Forum that comes with a huge number of free themes (also called "designs" or "skins") that you can choose from to fit your website layout might be just the thing!
