Default Spacing out my text menu bar

I chose to go with the text menu bar, as the tutorial said google prefers it. It seems to appear too close together. I was able to delete the [] around each text link, but is there a way to place spaces in between?

Yes, what I do is put two or three spaces in front of and after the word.

So for example, a link to your Gallery I would type like this

**Gallery** The * being just two hits on the space bar.
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

What you can also do, is instedd of using a text menu bar you can use a single (or double) row table with enough cells for each menu item. Type the menu items, select the text and add the links. You can make the table border size 0 and the background Automatic.
The table spaces the menu items out quit nicely.

I'll go the easy route first, and insert spaces. If that is not good enough, I'll try the row table.
