Thread: Adding music to page

I want to add a sound to the index page when it opens but not the other pages. I watched the tutorial for media player.
1.Does the MP icon has to sit on the page or can it be hidden?
2. How long can the sound play for (reasonably)
3. WhenI tried to add the sound file to the MP dialogue box that was fine but then was does 'loop' 'hide' mean?
4.Do I need to link the sound to something so that it plays automatically.

Sorry I have no idea.

Use the hide facility.
2. How long can the sound play for (reasonably)
as long as you want (But think of page loading times)
3. when i tried to add the sound file to the MP dialogue box that was fine but then was does 'loop' 'hide' mean?
Loop means it will replay the sound/song again & again.
Hide! is so you cant see it. If using this set it to auto play.
4.Do I need to link the sound to something so that it plays automatically.
