Thread: Adding Animated GIF

OK, this is probably a really dumb question, but how do you add a animated GIF to a page?

I tried adding an image, and it's shows up fine, although non-animated in BV, which I can understand as the Marquee is also non-animated, but when I try to preview, it's a box with an x at the top left, when I publish it's the same.

What am I doing wrong?

Try copy and paste.

But before you do that goto "tools" select "options" and
select "use drag and drop to create new objects".

Thanks for the suggestion unfortunately it didn't work.

Try changing the name of the .gif and reinsert it .. change it to a smaller name, no spaces .. sometimes it is the name of the item that gives this problem, or if you have since moved this item from the location where you inserted this can happen as well ..

I knew it was gonna be an easy fix... Thanks LadyEye, I changed the name to construction2.gif, worked like a charm...Thanks!!
