Thread: Foreign characters looking funny

Hello,
I followed the VH instruction on how to configure the Control Panel international language menu and also change by BV page to UTF-8. I tested the letters ç and é which looked really good INSIDE BV, but as soon as I previewed them, they turned into question marks in Firefox browser and little squares in IE7.

I am running a French language site and it will more than mandatory for me to include accents and typical french accents. Can anyone please tell me why it is not showing properly on these 2 browsers? I can still read similar characters everyday on the same browsers..Why aren't they displayed properly when uploaded from my BV page (despite the changes i made in the Control Panel International language and BV page property?)
