Question Fonts - websafe alternatives in HTML

On my site www.jacklovelock.com I have Palatino Linotype as the defautl font. Unfortunately some computers do not have this installed. How can I edit the relevant HTML so that if a computer does not have Palatino installed it willthen rever to Georgia as next best or Verdana?

Perhaps new thread but does BV save a banner as a graphic or html?
    What about a banner?
    Cheers,
    Muzz

I don't know about the fonts problem, but what kind of banner are you talking about? If you are talking about any kind of shape, glass button, or image effect then the answer is that BlueVoda generates the shape, glass button, or image effect that you create with BlueVoda. BlueVoda then saves it as a graphics (I think .png file) and publishes it.

In this case I was using a logo as a banner and just wondered if the whole logo including the words I added is saved as a graphic. The nice thing about using a logo as a banner is there are more options. eg font sizes (with a banner, font sizes are quite limited)

Unless you can hover over the text part of the logo and see your cursor change to the text cursor, then the text is saved as part of the logo.

Ok, Muzz, looks like your font choice was a wise one! Palatino Linotype is in the Web Friendly Fonts list that Zuriatman posted.
