Thread: Moving objects and text around a page

Up until yesterday, I found that I could move and adjust objects and text around a webpage easily, using drag and drop, nudging with the keyboard arrows or using the blue image handles to modify the image size or text layout. The objects would move under fine control to the exact position that I wanted.

Now, all of these methods cause the object or text to jump, out of true control, well beyond the distance or position that I intended. It's annoying!!! Maybe it's my computer, maybe it's just me but I'm not having problems with other graphic applications.

I would appreciate any advice or help. Thank you.

If it was OK until yesterday, then its posible that YOU may have changed or added something to cause this effect.

You may have an empty text box in a certain position, or a hidden item.

Try selecting All and then look at all the handles to see if there is a wayward item...........

I've done as you suggested and there's nothing amiss......anyway the problem is apparent on every page of the website.

What problem Boo............
apart from your home page(lotus flower =580 KB (593,484 bytes - too big)
everythink looks cool and professional........

Same thing happened to me at first...

In BlueVoda Builder...

Layout>>guide settings>>grid spacing>>untick snap to grid

Karen......you're a genius. This solved the problem instantly. I don't know why this suddenly occurred but, nevertheless, I know how to solve it if it re-appears again.

Thank you for your kind comments David. Maybe, I should rethink the Misc-props image as that takes a while to load.
