Thread: Image problems

I thought I might be asking a stupid question, but I am assured that if you don't know the answer, it's not a stupid question, so here goes....

I've put an image at the top of the page, but when I try to preview the page in my browser, the image isn't there - just a box with a little white box with an X in it in the corner of the page.

I've obviously done something fundamentally wrong inserting the image, but I can't discover what.

Help, please.

Hi Leethesign,

Have you mooved your image after you have included it in your page?

Do the following:

Open your page in BV, click image, select image properties, look for your image again(as you have done to insert it), insert it again, click ok.

After that, preview it.

If it doesn't work, come back.

After you place one image in your page, you can´t move it anywere, or the directory listed for your image would be different, and it wont show up.

Hi Susana,

Tried that ...still the same. Oddly enough, there are 3 other images on the page and they're alL o.k., so any other suggestions would be welcomed.

Make sure that your image is in the correct format e.g. .gif .jpg .png that you are placing on the page ...

check the name of the image, rename it to something simpler ..

reinsert and it should show up
