Thread: Chat, mysql chat, and chat plugins

Hi, i've read the next thread where Watdaflip asks if using a chat in mysql stored and refreshed is allowed in Voda but there isn't answer.

Also ***** mentioned something about "chat plugins" are allowed but i didn't found anything about that in google.

I'd like to know if it's possible to do what Watdaflip said, and also if there is an especific plugin that works and is allowed in Voda.

Hi, thanks for answering. I have done that yet, actually I have seen chat servers are not supported by Vodahost because a security issues. But, there is a trhead where you say to a member (quality) that is allowed a chat that no requires a server, and suggest him to look for chat plugins in google.

Afterwards another member (Watdaflip) asks if it's allowed a chat storing messages in mysql and refreshing page and there is no answer. The thread is:

I looked in google and other search engines and didn't find anything about chat plugins (anything I could understand at least) je je; so, I'd like to know if somebody knows some option i can use of plugins, and also, if its allowed the Watdaflip idea (I don't know if that idea functions as a plugin or as a server, sorry).

a plugin does not run on our servers...It runs remotely.
