Thread: Downloads on Website

I want people to be able to download stuff off of my website for free, how do I do this?

do you have lot of files or just one to be downloaded from your website?

I have quite a few-at least 30

what type of files? are the pdf files, doc files? easier for us to help you if you told us this. but lets assume that they are doc files and we will call the first file:
fileone.doc
what you would do is upload the files to the server through your ftp tool, then build a website page with a link that will look like this:
www.yoursitename.com/fileone.doc
www.yoursitename.com/filetwo.doc
and continue with building the link page. once the customer clicks on the link it will open a new page and they can download this page or print it.
