Question Forum Maker phpbb or SMF

I want to create a forum for a school website and noticed that there is phpbb and SMF in your fantastico folder. So I just wnat know which one is the best (least trouble) to add to a BV website or is the BV forum builder more compatible or less hassle.

    Thanks
    Sarah

    Hi Sarah,

The silence must be deafening after days of silence. Please have a look at the specific forum on forms. Navaldesign
I downloaded the ABVFP and built a couple of forms and installed them without too much bother.
    Kind regards
    Alex

Sarah, I think you'll find phpbb easier to set up and run.

Alex, I think you misread the post?
Don't aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

    Thanks Alex and and Marinky,
I thought I had been abandoned or something. Thanks for gettting back to me. I have a form that is running fine (from navaldesign) but I couldn't decide from the fantastico the better or in my case the easier choice for the forum!
I will take Marincky's advice and give the phpbb a try.
