Thread: forms & checkboxes

I am creating a form with checkboxes. When the page is published and I am using the form, and I check one of the boxes, I automatically want a value to "show up" in another area of the form. How do I do this?

Also, am I required to layout my entire form on the "form" grid or just go ahead and build it like I need it?

Any field on the form which needs to be saved and emailed back to you
OR needs to be saved in a database
MUST be within the form grid(this includes the submit or reset buttons)

any other text/image can be outside of the grid as you wish.

Great! Thanks!! But can I add an on-click code piece so when the 1st checkbox is clicked it will automatically enter a specific value in another field?
