What do I do to improve this reporting - to the ultimate improvement of my site?

This is what happens when you use any type of builder
and then go and alter, delete, add, save,publish, change etc

I would not worry about that site report..............see other threads in the same vein.

Would I be wasting my time to make the improvement?

Is there any benefit in doing so?

Unless you are a purist, I would and do not bother, and I have no problems getting into the top 10.............

My site ranks quite low and I would like to improve its ranking thus making it easier for the kids to search and locate.

Tips in this regard would be welcome on improving the page speed and items already reflected.

Another reason for low ranking is most of your links go OFF site and not your content.

The links are to other sites, and not pages within your own site.

Yes... it looks like its a doorway front for something else and most likely you are being penalized for this as well.

I guess when the link refers to another site I cant get away from it - other than to remove the link or put up with the penalty.
