Thread: Clearing the gustbook

I have installed the BV guest book under CONTACT US and it works fine. However, I am stuck on two questions:

1) How do I clear old messages?
2) I ticked the option of for administrator login in the hope that I can do it this way, but after logging in it just opened my default mail client with an blank outgoing message to one that entered the guestbook So what use is this login?

Hi, you should be able to go to this page http://www.salamaortarart.com/guestbook.php & login to the admin link at the bottom of the page & delete the messages.

Hi, many thanks. Your reply set me off thinking that my logon was incorrect, as I did not assign a password when building the page believing that the administrator's password relates to the one I use for the CPanel. I went in again this time and created my own password and now it worked. Ta.
