Thread: my images

I inserted a picture with insert image tool on a page. On it I added text. When I published the page, the picture doesnt appear but the text does. Whata could be the reason? Please help.

Hi, try deleting the image on your BV page & then re-insert it. Then republish.

I deleted the picture, reinserted and republished. The result is the same. Any suggestions pls?

try deleting it, renaming the picture, reinsert it, save and republish. Have come across this a few times before and it has worked for several people.

I deleted the picture first, I downloaded the picture again from BV images list allright. I gave it a name. saved in in my page, published it. viewed in firdt before publishing, published it..and the picture is not there, but the rest are ok. Im learning still believe me..really a newbie. Pls hold my hand and lead me..

Try this: In C:\MyDocuments\BlueVoda>>>>>>>>>>>>>open a new folder
and name it "Images".

Then copy your image to this folder.

Final step: Insert the image using the image tool in BlueVoda.

1) remove the pic
2)rename the pic
3)insert the pic exact as instructed here
4)save the new pic, make sure it is save to your images folder.
5) republish

Hi, is there any chance this is an addon domain? If so! Check the "Hot link protection" in the cpanel & see if your site is added there, or turn it off.

Hi guys! Finally i found out what was wrong...in the box when publishing, i forgot to change the command to 'publish all files' from the innitial 'publish html files only' I hope others with the same problem will learn here. Thanks though for the suggestions.

Ah! well done, 1 to add to the list. This is a new'ish BV feature & one worth remembering for this problem.
