Default Pasting a completed table into Blue Voda

Hi - Can I copy/paste a completed table from MS Word, directly to a BV page? When I try, the table disappears and I am just left with a list.

    Thanks, Aussietrim

Thats the way it is I'm afraid!

    You can either

    1) Insert the table tool in BV and manually enter the data.
    2) Take a screen shot of the table, trim it, save as image and insert it. Here is an example http://www.imperialrfc.org.uk/fixtures.php
    3) FTP the word document to your directory so your visitor can dowload it. I would however advise you to convert to PDF file. More universally accepted on the web

    Hope this helps

You have actually answered your own question as Bluevoda tables are created as you publish, so I believe that the answer is No................

i dont think i agree with the answers given. here is an example of importing a table using excel via the Ole object tool on the left. i'm sure you can also import the same if the table was created in word, but im not sure why someone would want to create a table in word instead of excel

mrmagoo144 you are right. I personally did try it your way last time this topic came up but I found that the right hand side of the table I had a lot of unwanted cells which I couldn't remove or drag in, I was probably doing something wrong and gave up too quickly but this method is definately worth a shot and seems easier to maintain.

You may not agree with the answers because the answers were for the question asked (Hi - Can I copy/paste a completed table from MS Word, directly to a BV page?)

But your help on Importing was a good answer.

Thanks for your input everyone, looks like I will continue to add the data manually.
