Thread: Background color?

Hello,

Would like to take a quick second to thank all the people on here for all of the information that has been put on here over some period of time. After I type that I realize I still don't understand most of it..lol

Here is a link to my site (pay NO attention to the name of the site as we were going to start selling our own t-shirts but finances kind of went south so on hold) and as of right now I am just trying to learn bv and how to get around with it.

I have made a few pages with really no particular theme to the whole site but I did try to make them look like they all belonged on the site but the trouble I am having doing that is getting the background behind some of the pictures black.

I managed to get the background on two of them black, One being a regular page to start with and it let me choose background and then black for color and the other I pulled the picture out to cover the white behind it, this one was a template from bv.

I have used one of bv's templates for all the pages but one and so I guess my question would be is it possible to make the background behind the pics black when using a template? I tried right clicking and looking at properties and other things but it did not give me that option to change the white on the template.

Thank You for any help and if you notice any big glaring stuff (links not working, page out of whack etc.) that will help me please let me know. Like I said, the site is just kind of a practice thing for now so just doing some things.

If you wish to make that white area black, you need to use the SHAPE icon
size it to fit that area then send it to the back
then send the tamplate to the back

that should do it
