On my 20" monitor it's taller than wide. Not entirely sure, but my best guess is it's because you used the blue handles to resize the image. You need to open the original gif in your drawing program or maybe Pixresizer (if it handles animated gifs, not sure about that) and reduce the original to exactly the size you want it on your BV page.
